News for voters with visual impairment

On May 26 Elections to the European Parliament and run-off voting of the Elections of the President of the Republic will take place. During these elections voters with disabilities will be able to vote more easily, independently and in secret.

On the day of the Elections to the European Parliament, every municipality and electoral district will have the opportunity to use a magnifying glass for voters with visual impairments.

Likewise, voters who are visually impaired will have an opportunity to use ballot papers, which are put in the special cases with information written in Braille.

As the CEC is aware, the younger generation do not read Braille, but instead use the language synthesizer, the CEC has adapted its website to people using a language synthesizer.
