CEC reminds about a possibility to vote abroad

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) invites all citizens of the Republic of Lithuania who are currently or on the day of the Elections will be abroad to vote in the 2019 Elections of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, mandatory Referendums on Amendments to Articles 12 and 55 of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania and Elections to the European Parliament.

Voters voting abroad have two options: either to vote by post or to come to the diplomatic mission or consular post of the Republic of Lithuania personally. Voters intending to vote by post abroad must register via the electronic registration system of voters who intend vote abroad.

CEC informs that according to the data of 29 April 2019, 42 110 voters have already registered to vote abroad. That is, 22,903 voters or 119 percent, more than in 2016 during the Elections to the Seimas.
