Results of the Elections of the European Parliament – only after midnight

Under the EU law, Member States are prohibited from officially publishing the results of the Elections to the European Parliament until the voting is still held in any of the Member States. This year, polling stations in Italy will be closed at the latest 11 p.m. – in Lithuania it will be 12 a.m.

Hence, the Central Electoral Commission will have the right to start publishing the results of the Elections to the European Parliament only after midnight.
